"As a teacher and parent, I have spent many nights crying, wanting for my daughter to be able to read, and to love it. For the last 3 years, I kept receiving ‘struggling reader’ letters and watched her feel defeated because she is always in the red level (at risk of repeating her current grade). I tried to make it seem like it is no big deal and encouraged her to just keep working hard. But I knew it still hurt. It hurt her heart and it hurt mine too. I am writing to say that for the first time in all of her school years, my daughter is finally out of red level! I have tears about the progress she has made with you and Reading Quest. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

I've been using the strategy you suggested during your recent SFPS workshop that involved having the kids first look at the vowel and then blending the consonants with it.  That has been an absolute GAME CHANGER.
I cannot believe the progress I'm seeing in my struggling second graders since implementing it!  Thank you.

"The facilitators proved that joyful, engaged learning--and more importantly, true connection--is not just limited to in-person learning; it *can* be achieved online/ in remote learning! I had yet to have this experience of engaged and coherent online learning until I took this workshop. This workshop helped me break through my limited sense of what is possible online, and I now I am more excited about remote learning than ever before."
