The Morgan Dynamic Phonics Program (Free)
The resources below were generously shared by Ken Morgan, the creator and founder of this wonderful program! These structured literacy worksheets are from his Orton-Gillingham based, structured literacy program with funny, phonetically controlled reading text. The Yes/No sentences and Mad Libs are really engaging, playful and fun!  Thank you, Ken!
Early Readers

Nora Gaydos decodable books are available in sets of 10. They are engaging and fun and include comprehension and rhyming questions. All our students love these books! There are several different levels of readers available depending on what phonics skill each child is working on. Each set of 10 books is now only 99 cents when downloaded on a Kindle app. It is hard to find new physical copies of these books, but the digital versions are a great deal!
We are happy to share with you some of our time-tested methods and materials to support children with reading. We have also put together a compilation of our top recommendations of best online resources  for teachers, tutors and parents.  Please join our email list if you would like to receive future updates. Support us too if you can.
American Sign Language (ASL)
Reading Quest uses the American Sign Language (ASL) alphabet and a few simple signs to help children learn how to read.  If you would like to explore this approach, here is an ASL alphabet for purchase at the American Society of Deaf Children.  

​We also invite you to check the ASL section of our compilation of favorite online resources.  It includes two youtube videos for learning the alphabet.  Also, check out this video of the ASL alphabet being sung- it's quite fast so perhaps learn your ABCs in ASL first!
