Reading Quest Partners with Project Lit!

For the past three years, Reading Quest has been honored to partner with Project Lit, share our Reading is Magic summer camp program and train their amazing team in multi-sensory structured literacy instruction. Project LIT is Metropolitan Baptist Church’s (The Met’s) summer literacy initiative designed to support elementary students in North Tulsa who are reading below grade level. Through this program, The Met offers a four-week, full-day summer camp that provides intensive, evidence-based reading instruction to help students build confidence, skill, and a strong foundation for future learning. Project LIT has had an incredibly successful first two years implementing the Reading Quest model and making it their own. Their students experienced close to a full year's growth in reading levels during each 4-week camp.
Partnering with Reading Quest, a literacy organization based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Project LIT delivers high-quality instruction through a proven model that emphasizes phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
