Reading Specialist


​Reading Quest, a local non-profit, provides professional support for children who need help with reading. During the school year, we tutor during the school day and afterschool; in the summer we tutor at our center and host our Reading is Magic camps at Santa Fe School for the Arts & Sciences.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, part or full time Reading Specialist to work in person at one or more of our locations, which include: Santa Fe Public Schools, Taos Public Schools, Cochiti and Santo Domingo Pueblo Elementary Schools, Ohkay Owingeh Community School, Turquoise Trail Charter School, West Las Vegas and our magical Reading Quest center. We are looking for applicants who have experience working with children in elementary and/or middle school and truly enjoy empowering them to learn how to read using structured literacy phonics and reading games aligned with the science of reading. We provide extensive training and ongoing support. Our team is incredibly supportive and kind and we love our work and the students and families we support. Compensation and benefits are excellent.
